The Explorer’s Garden Agapanthus Lampshade

Agapanthus always feels like high summer in Cornwall - tall stems, rounded heads and that way they seem to glow against granite and sea air.

This design was drawn for us by Heidi Ball, who has been illustrating for Cream Cornwall since 2012. She sketches every flower head, butterfly and tiny insect by hand in pen. We then bring the elements together and build the blue tones ourselves, letting the softer shades deepen into richer shadows so the design has depth without feeling heavy.

Each shade is made by us in our in-house lampshade studio in Penryn.
